The FAST Micro Mount is part of a line of optic mounts and platforms engineered to deliver a faster sight picture compared to standard-height options. With a 2.26″ optical centerline height, shooters can acquire the reticle more quickly and naturally—especially when using electronic hearing protection, communications headsets, night vision devices, or gas masks. This elevated mounting position encourages a heads-up posture that speeds up visual processing of the environment and helps maintain a neutral spine alignment, reducing fatigue when wearing helmets, plate carriers, and other heavy equipment.
Integrated standard-height backup iron sights are built directly into the mount, keeping the weapon streamlined without sacrificing capability. Both the front and rear BUIS are fully adjustable for windage and elevation. The front sight post is removable, allowing the rear aperture to pair with a conventional front sight—such as the FUSION fixed or folding sights—for a longer, more traditional sight radius. That said, the built-in front and rear BUIS configuration is ideally suited for compact PDW and SMG platforms where rail space is at a premium for accessories like lights and lasers.
The mount is compatible with Aimpoint Micro optics (H1, H2, T1, T2, CompM5) as well as other red dots that share the Aimpoint Micro footprint, including select models from Sig Sauer, Holosun, Primary Arms, and Vortex Optics.
A standard rail-grabber clamp is included, and the mount is also designed to accept a drop-in American Defense Manufacturing QD Auto-Lock Lever (sold separately) for quick-detach functionality.
Construction is aluminum with an anodized black finish.
